The Birth Laine provides non-medical birth doula services, childbirth education, birth planning support, and birth photography. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

All information shared on this website or during services is for educational and supportive purposes only and is not a substitute for medical care from a licensed healthcare provider.

Client Responsibility

Clients are responsible for:

  • Making their own healthcare decisions

  • Consulting with qualified medical professionals for medical concerns

  • Understanding that outcomes of pregnancy and birth cannot be guaranteed

Doula support does not replace medical care, nor does it ensure specific birth outcomes.

Bookings & Consultations

  • Free consultations are informational and do not create a client–provider relationship unless a service agreement is signed.

  • Services are confirmed only after completion of required agreements and payment arrangements.

  • Availability is not guaranteed until confirmed in writing.

Payments & Refunds

  • Pricing, packages, and payment terms are outlined at the time of booking.

  • Deposits and fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in a signed agreement.

  • Special pricing or promotional offers are subject to availability and may change at any time.

Photography Services

Birth photography is documentary in nature. While every effort is made to capture meaningful moments, image content and quantity cannot be guaranteed due to the unpredictable nature of birth.

By booking photography services, clients acknowledge and accept these limitations.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, branding, and materials — is the property of The Birth Laine unless otherwise stated. Content may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.
