White Birth Pool Rental

A calming, beautiful birth space โ€” set up and ready when you are.

Warm water helps your body relax, eases tension between contractions, and gives you the freedom to move and find positions that feel right. Many birthing people describe getting into the water as a turning point โ€” the moment everything slowed down, softened, and felt more manageable.

Why White?

Because Your Birth Space Matters

Most inflatable birth pools are blue โ€” and while they get the job done, they cast a blue-toned reflection on your skin, the water, and your baby. If you're investing in birth photography or simply want a space that feels calm, warm, and intentional, that colour shift matters more than you'd think.

White birth pools create a serene aesthetic that complements your birth space rather than competing with it. The white surface reflects natural light softly, producing warm, true-to-life tones โ€” which means gorgeous photos and a more peaceful visual environment for you, your partner, and your baby.

If you're planning to have a birth photographer capture your story (hi, I do that too ๐Ÿ‘‹), a white pool makes a real difference in the quality and warmth of those images.

Birth Pool Rental Packages

Not sure how much gear you'll need?

The Essential Package covers your bases if you already have some supplies on hand, and The Complete Package gives you everything for a smooth, stress-free setup and take-down from start to finish. Both include a beautiful white inflatable birth pool designed for labour and birth.

Birth Pool โ€” Good to Know

It's not just for home births. If you're under midwifery care, you may be able to bring a birth pool to Kootenay Lake Hospital for labouring or a water birth. Chat with your midwife about their policies and what's possible โ€” then let's make it happen.

Every pool is cleaned and sanitized after each use with hospital-grade cleaning supplies. A fresh, single-use hygienic liner and debris net are included with every rental.

Have a birth photographer? A white pool photographs beautifully โ€” no blue cast, no colour correction needed. Whether you're booking birth photography with me or someone else, this is one of those details that makes a noticeable difference.

More Labour Comfort Measures

Building your birth toolkit? These comfort tools pair well with a birth pool rental, or can be rented on their own. Discounts on rentals are available for in-person Birth Support Clients.

TENS Machine โ€” $80

A drug-free pain management tool that uses gentle electrical pulses to ease discomfort during early and active labour. Many families find it especially helpful for managing contractions at home before heading to the hospital. Rentals start at 37 weeks, through birth.

Birth & Peanut Ball Set โ€” $50

Two essential positioning tools in one rental. The birth ball supports movement, pelvic opening, and upright positioning during labour, while the peanut ball is used between your knees while side-lying to create space in the pelvis - especially helpful during longer labours or with an epidural. Both are useful throughout pregnancy, active labour, and early postpartum recovery. Rentals start at 37 weeks, through birth.

The Birth Sling - $80

Created by osteopath and birth worker Dr. Jess Michaels, The Birth Sling supports upright and active labour positions no matter where you choose to birth. It helps you sway, squat, lean, and rest between contractions - keeping you mobile and supported whether you're labouring over a bed, beside a birth pool, or on your own. Many families find it eases pelvic pressure, encourages baby's positioning, and gives birth partners a break from physically holding you up. Rentals start at 37 weeks, through birth.
